This weaving came so easily. Sometimes I struggle, but all those myriad blues just flowed off my palette. See a large framed print of same in a client's house in Gallery 5.

Winner of "People's Choice" award, CSMA, Ithaca exhibit, summer 2008 and juried into Western Federation of Watercolor Societies exhibition, San Diego, 2009.

A Giclee is an ART QUALITY PRINT, an exceptionally high quality ink jet print made on a professional printer. Materials and inks used are of superb quality and intended to achieve both stunning appearance and excellent display life. In the case of my "weavings", the three-dimensional effect is captured, thanks to the sophisticated scanning and printing techniques available today.

GALLERY WRAP: The 1 1/2" width tapers as you see it: canvas is wrapped tightly around wooden stretcher bars and secured behind with staples. Most canvas prints have merely the color extension of the background on the sides. This example, from my African series, has complementary color extensions of the actual design (which touches the edge).
